Education is one of the most powerful tools for an empowered birth. Through thoughtful preparation of the mind, body, and soul, you’ll gain the knowledge and confidence needed to make informed decisions for your birth.

I am a childbirth educator with over 10 years of experience, offering in-person group classes in northern Colorado Springs. My course is Beginnings Birth Center–approved and appropriate for all couples, regardless of where you choose to give birth.

WHY TAKE A CLASS?

Knowledge is power. When you and your partner understand the birth process—and feel prepared to navigate unexpected changes—you set yourselves up for a positive experience, no matter how your baby’s birthday unfolds. In this in-person group class, you’ll learn over four weeks alongside other expecting couples. You’ll gain practical tools in a supportive, comfortable environment, have space to ask questions, and build community with others preparing for birth.

I offer a variety of in-person classes (with virtual options coming soon) designed to prepare you and your partner physically, mentally, and emotionally for labor, birth, breastfeeding, and the immediate postpartum period.

Classes are offered in group settings, with private options available for special circumstances or scheduling needs.

  • GROUP CLASS - COMPREHENSIVE CHILDBIRTH EDUCATION

    Our most popular class with the most information and opportunity to connect with other couples who often turn into lifelong friendships! Learn everything you need to know about pregnancy, labor, birth, and the immediate postpartum. Perfect for couples planning a hospital, birth center or homebirth.

    Our Comprehensive Childbirth Education Class prepares you on all levels – physically, mentally, and emotionally to navigate your birth experience as it unfolds. You and your partner will complete this class feeling excited, confident, and ready for your birth.

    This is an in-person group class that meets one evening a week for 2 hours over four sessions (8 hours total). Workbook included.

    Investment: $450

  • This option is perfect for any couple who has specific childbirth education needs (VBAC, previous birth trauma, etc) or just needs an expedited class on a timeline that works best with your schedule and/or upcoming due date.

    This class will begin with an initial consultation to learn about your specific desires/needs. I will put together a customized plan for you that can be taught as a 1 day intensive or split into two session that work with your availability.

    Investment: $500
